I came across these feathers, and a few more bloody bits on my Byrne Creek ravine walk in SE #Burnaby this morning.
Hawks, Barred Owls, and the occasional Bald Eagle frequent the area, and it appears one of these raptors had breakfast in the raw.

Canada Goose Nesting on a Piling, Fraser River
We came across this Canada Goose on our two-hour ramble in Fraser Foreshore Park from Burnaby to Vancouver and back. It was nesting on top of an old, rotting, piling in the river.
