I found this Northern Flicker working on a nest cavity in a tree in Byrne Creek Ravine Park in SE Burnaby, BC, this afternoon.
Spotted several Bushtits on my Byrne Creek walk in SE Burnaby, BC, this morning.
In addition to the cute Ruby-crowned Kinglets in my previous post, I also saw a Turkey Vulture, a Northern Flicker, and several American Robins on my stroll in SE Burnaby, BC, earlier today.

We had a lovely walk for a couple of hours at Campbell Valley Regional Park in Langley, BC, today. A few hightlight were a cute Garter Snake, several Rufous Hummingbirds, and a Yellow-rumped Warbler.

I walked along Byrne Creek in SE Burnaby, BC, this morning all the way to the Fraser River and back to Edmonds.
I was thrilled to observe a Red-tailed Hawk pas de deux, and a Sandhill Crane overflight, both not far from Riverway Golf Course.
