Another stop on a Duffy Lake road circuit.
Our first stop on a Duffy Lake road loop was Green Lake near Whistler. Great views!
We’d driven past this little lake and nature trail many times, and today we stopped and checked it out. One Mile Lake near Pemberton, BC.
Too early for salmon coming home to spawn, but it was so beautiful outside today that I had to go for a Byrne Creek ravine walk.
We visited Fort Rodd Hill near Victoria, BC. We’ve been there several times and enjoy watching the wildlife.
A trio of Turkey Vultures
Beach bum deer : -)
We were camping on Vancouver Island and decided to drive down to Victoria for some sightseeing. One of the places we visited was Royal Roads University where I completed an MA in Professional Communication. Hard to believe that was ten years ago!
One of our favourite places to beach walk and explore tidal pools is Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park on Vancouver Island.
Stopped in at the Watershed Grill in Brackendale on the way to Whistler on a daytrip with a visiting cousin. Great view of the Squamish River from the restaurant, and we even spotted a seal.
We’ve known this is coming for years, but I was still a bit shocked to see City crews putting up these signs on my south slope ramble today. Sigh.
This will be a big hit on urban biodiversity in south Burnaby. The site is just across Byrne Park Drive to the east of Byrne Creek Ravine Park.
