Flight of the Asian Lady Beetles
While we were camping at Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park we saw this massive gathering of Asian Lady Beetles on the shore of the lake.
Apparently this species was introduced to North America and has become a serious problem in some areas.
As the sun warmed them, they gradually opened up and began moving, eventually taking flight.
