In addition to the usual Anna’s Hummingbirds, I spotted a Rufous Hummingbird at Fraser Foreshore Park in Burnaby, BC, today.

I went to a spot where I often see Anna’s Hummingbirds (they are very territorial) and . . . nothing. Decided to wait a few minutes just in case, and, voila!

And the first Rufous I’ve seen this year.
