We’ve Got Coho Fry in Byrne Creek in Burnaby!

We’ve got fry! I spotted three or four fry at the upper end of the eroded area in the lower ravine, and one fry near the bottom of the stairs.

Russia Will Never be Loved Until it Learns to Love
Every time I see a smiley face on a social media post about Russian brutality in Ukraine I see an NKVD, KGB, FSB troll.
It doesn’t matter what generation of totalitarian cruelty — Russian Empire, USSR, or current dictatorship.
It is continuing and constant misinformation and deflection. A long history of propaganda.
We know you.
We also know the reasons you hate us so much.
We are respected and you are not. We are successful and you are not. We are loving and you are not.
Your leaders have kept trying more brutality for centuries. . . .
Hasn’t the time come to overthrow these madmen?
Pale Hues on the Sea to Sky
Whenever I go up the Sea to Sky highway on BC’s west coast, be it as far as Squamish, or further to places like Nairn Falls and Pemberton, I always include a rest stop at Porteau Cove.

Porteau Cove rarely disappoints. . . .
