Thank you to those of you who have RSVP’d for our open house next Tuesday, Feb 10, 2026. We look forward to sharing information about the Byrne Creek Streamkeepers, answering your questions and giving you a chance to meet the amazing people who have been caring for the Byrne Creek watershed for over 30 years.
Perhaps you would like to count returning salmon, or monitor the bugs they eat. Or maybe you are interested in water chemistry, or public education, or removing invasive plants, or helping to manage a BC Society. Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary.
Streamkeeper training is available through the Pacific Streamkeepers Federation. We can arrange for a training session right here at Byrne Creek!
It is not very accessible by transit, so we may be able to set up carpools.
Please let us know if you plan to come, particularly if you need transportation.
