Sora the Cat easing into her afternoon nap.
She loves “holding hands” and needs some cuddle time before she’ll fall asleep and I can gently transfer her into my recliner and get back to work.

Anna’s and Rufous Hummingbirds in Burnaby, BC
In addition to the usual Anna’s Hummingbirds, I spotted a Rufous Hummingbird at Fraser Foreshore Park in Burnaby, BC, today.
I went to a spot where I often see Anna’s Hummingbirds (they are very territorial) and . . . nothing. Decided to wait a few minutes just in case, and, voila!
And the first Rufous I’ve seen this year.
