After our morning walk on Byrne Creek in SE Burnaby, BC, we walked up the hill to the Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre to take in the Nikkei Garden Farmer’s Market.
We scored a delicious Okanagan Apple Sunflower loaf from A Bread Affair.

Barred Owl Family Chows Down in Burnaby
On our morning walk we came upon a Barred Owl and three fledglings feasting on something that we couldn’t quite make out.
We watched for a minute and moved on to leave them in peace.
