Goldfinches in Taylor Park, Burnaby, BC

So I’m lugging the big lens on a south Burnaby walk, and good thing I did! I ran into a woman in Taylor Park who asked if I knew what the “yellow” birds were.

I hadn’t seen any yellow birds, but said they could be American Goldfinches, as I’d shot them in that area in previous years.
About five mintues further up the trail, and bingo!

Fraser Foreshore Feathered Friends, Burnaby, BC

It was a sunny day in south Burnaby, BC. I featured Anna’s and Rufous Hummingbirds that I photographed there in the previous post, and here’s a menagerie of other birds seen this morning.
