It was nearly impossible to walk the beach at Cates Park in North Vancouver this afternoon without fear of stepping on something.
I shot over a dozen varieties of wee crabs in various colours and patterns, ranging in size from my pinky fingernail to my thumbnail.
What a blast!













As we were rambling around in North Vancouver today, Yumi heard the sound of young birds begging. She soon spotted this lovey sapsucker coming in with food delivery.
I got a few shots but we din’t stare too long, not wanting to disturb the family.
