We came across this Canada Goose on our two-hour ramble in Fraser Foreshore Park from Burnaby to Vancouver and back. It was nesting on top of an old, rotting, piling in the river.
There were several Northern Flickers at Fraser Foreshore Park in south Burnaby, BC, and one was hanging out at what appeared to be a cavity nest.
We spotted this Red-tailed Hawk on a pile of debris in a construction zone along the Fraser River between Burnaby and Vancouver.
I thought it was going to take off, but instead . . .
