Satyr Comma Butterfly on Byrne Creek Trail

Satyr Comma on the trail to Byrne Creek near the tennis courts at the bottom end of Ron McLean Park in SE Burnaby.

I often get the impression that if you’re non-threatening, butterflies almost seen to enjoy “flirting” with you. : -)

We hung out together for five minutes or more, and at one point it landed on my pants pocket and sat there for awhile.

Burgeoning Greenery on Byrne Creek in Burnaby

This reminds me of the old days when photographers would choose Fujichrome for its sensitivity and gradation for greens and blues, and Kodachrome for reds and yellows.

And yes, I’m dating myself 🙂.

Byrne Creek flora on my walk in SE Burnaby, BC, this morning.

Magical Christmas lights effect. I didn’t even notice it until I was editing after I got home. I love how rain adds to photos. . .
