A highlight of today’s walk at Burnaby Lake was a short bird call.
The elusive Virginia Rail.

Took a careful walk at Burnaby Lake. The Piper Spit boardwalk and the viewing tower were closed, but lots of room on the trails.
There were both Anna’s and Rufous Hummingbirds at the Burnaby Lake Nature House feeder.
